About Dr. Tatiana Astray
With a strong foundation in organizational behavior and business, my educational journey includes a B.Sc. in Psychology, an M.Sc. in Marketing and Consumer Studies, and a Ph.D. in Organization Studies. Professionally, I have worked across various sectors, including education, research, technology start-ups, and marketing. Additionally, I serve on the board for Jumpstart, an NGO dedicated to the economic empowerment of Canadian refugees.
My deep-rooted passion for understanding human behavior stems from a desire to help individuals engage in actions that enhance well-being, foster productive relationships, and achieve long-term success. This drive has nurtured my love for research and my ongoing quest to explore the complexities of the human experience. I am particularly fascinated by the questions: How do we understand one another?, How can we cooperate more effectively?, and How do situations, relationships, and personality traits influence the way we approach differences and conflict? My research focuses on negotiations and the ways in which individuals can improve both their professional relationships and their negotiation outcomes.
Drawing from my expertise and pedagogical interests, I deliver engaging talks and lead interactive training workshops on negotiations, interpersonal communication, and managing professional relationships. I take great pride in helping professionals master the essential skills that drive personal and professional success.
In my free time, I enjoy long-distance treks, bouldering, and painting.
I also offer a curated selection of resources designed to support your personal and professional growth. I invite you to explore the ideas and discussions that have inspired me and deepened my understanding of what it means to be human.
